The pool opens on the Friday prior to Memorial Day, weekends only, until June 9th. On June 10th the pool complex opens Monday - Sunday and will remain open through Labor Day. Pool use requires proper registration for all family members and their guests. Swimming is permitted only during the posted hours and only when a lifeguard is present. Swimming at all other times is strictly prohibited. Battleground Country Club reserves the right to close the recreational facilities due to inclement weather. Battleground Country Club may utilize one or more of the recreational facilities for non-member events, but will provide a minimum of fourteen (14) days notice if such an event is scheduled. Battleground Country Club retains sole decision making as to whether the pool closes for both member and non-member events.

Battleground Country Club may exercise the right to deny a member(s) or their guest(s) access to the Recreational Complex facilities should they fail to provide their Identification Card, not be verified as a registered member, not be registered as the guest of a member, or their charge account is not in good standing (balances are due upon receipt of monthly statement).
Pool Rules and Regulations
Running, tag, pushing or raucous behavior in the pool and pool area is prohibited. Absolutely no playing is permitted in the changing facilities or dressing areas. Members, guests and children are permitted to change in the Cabana building; however, no one will be permitted in the Main Clubhouse in a bathing suit or bathing attire. Proper attire (See Dress Code) is required in the clubhouse and specifically in the Member’s Grille and golf locker rooms. Tables will be provided in both the men’s and ladies cabana facilities for the changing of diapers. Diapers are not to be changed in the pool area or using the pool furniture. Injuries, regardless of seriousness, are to be immediately reported to the nearest Battleground Country Club staff member or life guard. During peak hours and busy days, it would be appreciated, if children under the age of eighteen (18), relinquish the use of pool chairs to adults. A member or guest may not reserve a lounge chair for someone who is not present at the pool. The main pool is open to all members and their guests. Inflatables, tubes, life preserves and the like are strictly prohibited in the main pool. Only beach balls and noodles will be allowed at the discretion of the life guard on duty. The use of roller blades, roller skates, skateboards, bicycles, or golf carts are strictly prohibited on the pool deck or the walkway areas leading directly to the pool and tennis courts. Appropriate poolside footwear is required at all times while on the pool deck. Members or guests are prohibited from bringing pets into the pool and surrounding pool and tennis court areas. A “responsible individual” must accompany children under ten (10) years of age. Management has determined that a “responsible individual” is a person who has attained their 16th birthday. For hygiene purposes regular diapers are not allowed in ay of our pools, however, swim-diapers are allowed. Children under three (3) years of age are permitted in the main pool if supervised by a parent/guardian or water-safety instructor. Smoking is only allowed in the designated smoking area within the Recreation Complex. The designated smoking area is the grassy area behind the Cabana Grille.
Children's Play Area:
A “responsible individual” must accompany children under five (5) years of age. Management has determined that a “responsible individual” is a person who has attained their 16th birthday. No children over the age of ten (10) should be in the playground area unless supervising a younger child. No children over the age of ten (10) should use any of the playground equipment. No food or beverage in the playground area. No outside toys in the playground area. No rough housing or abuse of the playground equipment. Non adherence of these rules will be reviewed by a Manager and/or the lifeguard on duty and they will determine what action needs to be taken.
Baby Pool Rules and Regulations:
The baby pool is reserved for young children only. A lifeguard will be on duty whenever possible at the baby pool. Al children under the age of five (5) must be accompanied by an adult. Inflatables, tubes, life preservers and the like are permitted for the young children, however, in the baby pool only. For hygiene purposes regular diapers are not allowed in any of our pools, swim diapers are allowed.
Food and Beverage Regulations:
Outside food and beverage may NOT be brought into the pool. Glass of any nature is strictly prohibited in the pool area and will be confiscated. Tables are to be used for eating only unless there is a less than full house. Management reserves the right to ask members to move to another area n case of overflow conditions. All food and beverage consumption will be limited to the designated areas except for ice cream, sodas and snacks, which may be taken to your lounge chair. Please be responsible and courteous and clean-up after yourself using the proper receptacles (recycling & trash containers) to discard refuse.
Members may request to have a party at the pool by contacting the Director of Catering Sales in the Main Clubhouse. Separate rules, regulations and procedures will apply. A minimum of fourteen (14) calendar days notice is required. Catered events may not interrupt the use of the facilities by members.
